Daddy eventually became Chairman of the Deacon Board for Beulah Baptist Church
in Steelton , Pa under Rev. J. C. Wallace for 31 years.

Under the tutelage of Rev. I. J. Johnson, Pastor of St. Mark's Baptist in Toledo, Ohio 1419 Detroit Avenue is where Daddy got his Deacon in Training established. 1952-1963.
